Okay, theory time! Remember way back in Destiny Calls how Ryan the Bread Knight is supposed to defeat Rapier Tapir to take the throne? What if, to fulfill his destiny, he allows the Demon of Endless Chaos to posess him in order to be strong enough to kill King Tapir?
Of course, there are a few problems with this theory. The most prevalent being “why would the Bread Knight let a demon control him?” IDK, but if this comes true, I think we’ll start seeing a fall from grace with our favorite bread-wielding knight. He’s not really the smartest of fellows, but I think it’s entirely possible that he could let the glory of killing the Demon God (really a false Demon God now that we know about Pandemoneum) go to his head. It would be tragic.

This is actually a really good point- I’m just not sure how the Demon of Endless Chaos would be able to get in touch with him in the first place. Maybe we’ll find out?

It’s possible that Matthew is holding off on tagging them to avoid cementing that comic as canon, as it is one of his earlier ones, and therefore keeping it out of the mess of unfinished arcs he still has to deal with.
