I noticed this a while ago, but I can’t find an explanation. Where did the sword in the Demon King’s gut come from? Is it Culter the barbarian’s sword? (Panel 3 and 8)

Oh yes I remember seeing this! I’m pretty sure this part of the story hasn’t been explored yet, but I’m like 98% sure that’s Stabastian (Bread Knight’s first sword). Probably around CXC or CLXXV, after the Demon King first shows up at the Swornament, Bread Knight and a handful of other characters (apparently Jian, Mere, Chad) appear to help and possibly fight him off. The next time we see him, as far as I know, is in the Worselands when Joyeuse stabs him with the Boredsword, so during that time it’s presumable that Bread Knight and the others fight him off. In any case, the next time we see Stabastian with an adult Bread Knight is in DXXI after the Demon King gets defeated.
I’m still pretty interested to see this part of the story. How Bread Knight managed to actually stab a literal demon without a magic sword is still a mystery to me. Uh, apologies for the convolution, I just wanted to clear this up a bit…
