Wait, the smartsword is glowing orange in the third panel, who is it trying to warn? And of what? Wouldn’t it be loyal to Steve?

well the smartsword has a sentiance rune amongst the over 900 other runes. that means that all smartswords possess the ability to think for itself. i figure that the old model smartsword that steve had got offended that steve was advertising the new smartsword model in a way that made the old model look inferior.
