I mean, I called 2/3 of what would happen, so it is 2/3 of a win?

Damm… does this mean that Xiphos, Bograk, and Kargob (coolest of the gods) finally get to leave the demon god now? You know, with that giant slash in the demon god’s body?

It’s no Giga Drill Breaker, but it’ll get the job done. Good on you, Sickle.

Wait a second, does this technically make Sickle :sickle: Argok’s champion? Because if there are a piece of three god’s souls in the gods sword. So Ryan is baltad’s champion, Harpe is Greg’s champion. But that still leaves Argok and Sickle :sickle:. Please tell me if you agree or disagree. (Sorry for such a long post)

I agree, I think that sickle will become argoks champion. What could go wrong!

Nothing and absolutly everything.

That is a pretty good way to describe it

I think it does! If you look at the previous comics with the Gods Sword, we see that when Ryan touches the sword, he gets pauldrons that are shaped like Baltad’s head, while Harpe has pauldrons that are hard to see, but seem to look like Greg’s head. When Sickle touches the Gods Sword, ther pauldrons look to have two eyes on one side, making four on the full, and one eye is definitely smaller than the other, so it’s definitely Argok. The only problem with this is that she’s never wielded Argok’s godsword, but considering that Argok is still alive after the absorption of his sword (via the Mysterious People) and Sickle’s close relationship with the Travel Goblin, we can probably say that he doesn’t always follow the rules.

Here is Argok’s head and Sickle’s pauldron:

That’s interesting but I’m not sure I really want to read into this that much. Yes, Ryan the Bread Knight’s pauldrons are very strongly Baltad, but Harpe’s don’t really look like Greg’s head at all. I’m not saying that it’s not Argok, but it feels like a bit of a reach, considering how blantant Ryan’s pauldrons were.

Actually, what really gets me about this whole thing is the color scheming. Obviously, Sickle’s cloak is purple because Argok’s body is purple. But the blue gem on the sword and armor is kind of getting at me. Blue has never really been associated with Argok. The Avatars’ eyes are yellow, his body is purple, and Argok’s Edge is sorta green. The blue gem just feels kind of out of place.

Of course, if we’re just going off color theory, red, green, and blue are equidistantly spaced on the color wheel, so it may just be there because it’s the most aesthetically appealing choice. It does feel a little odd though.

You’re probably right about how this isn’t important.

HOWEVER
It would actually make a lot of sense if the blue gem corresponded to Greg’s Vane and the green gem was Argok’s, but that doesn’t work with Harpe and Sickle’s armors :frowning:

The most I can chalk it up to is the color theory thing.

Lore-wise, I’d guess that Argok doesn’t give a crap about our theories and will continue to use weird color combos to confuse the rest of us forever :l
Oh well.

Edit: it is still odd that Sickle seems to be “worthy” of wielding the Gods Sword
