If you read the notes as dots in Braille, they translate to a dash.

Are you familiar with how electronics such as cassette players or a Nintendo/NES/N64 connected to a TV in the 90s and early 2000s?

Composite AV cables. Yellow connector = video, red and white = left and right audio.

Technically you can read Braille visually, like any other written language.
