Does the Sworceress look a bit like Nova to anyone else?

Upon further examination, she has a blue barbarian tattoo and a zombie-looking replacement where a left hand used to be. It completely matches the description of Nova, and I’m inclined to believe that they are the future version of Nova, but the Sworceress appears in the backstory of Kris the Necromancer, who appears as a necromancer during the Swor’nament, so the timeline doesn’t match unless the stitches somehow disappeared or the longsword of time thrusts in out of nowhere.
Huh, wow. Upon examination their character designs are almost identical, but nope, the timelines don’t match. Weird.
I don’t remember noticing this at all, hah.
Maybe a sister, even a twin sister?
Actually, now that I look at it more closely, it’s not just her hand that is stitched on, but her head as well. So only the head matches Nova?? This is getting confusing.
Note that the tatoo doesn’t match Nova’s. Not that it matters given that the head appears to be stitched to the body, and the skin tones don’t match.
I’m so confused. Maybe this really wasn’t intentional. Or maybe she’s trying to impersonate Nova and doing a really bad job?? What??
I’m leaning towards the resemblance being unintended. With only the head, the connection gets pretty tenuous.
