So this is what took Matthew nearly two weeks to cook up… I would say it’s quite well done. 
Thanks, I hate it.
But I prefer this to the recursive centaur. (Half horse, half recursive centaur. It’s as ugly as it sounds.)
The word “centaur” doesn’t even make sense.
The -taur suffix implies a bull component, which a half man half horse doesn’t have.
It’s almost like the -taur suffix was the Ancients’ equivalent of the almost-always-erroneously-applied -ception suffix craze from when the film Inception came out!
