Important info I can gather here:

  1. The Demon of Eternal Slumber’s motivation for trying to kill Quest Sprout is to get the “Guardian of Light” to stop resisting him.
    1a. Bograk being the god of light, this may be Bograk’s champion, who we were told is keeping Slumber in check in the dream realm.
    1b. It’s possible then that Bograk’s champion is Quest Sprout’s mother? Though I think Pest Sprout is visible on the first page we can see Quest Sprout’s mother, which would suggest that Slumber was already trying to get Quest Sprout… But it’s not impossible that she was already causing problems for Slumber, I guess.
  2. Slumber is able to draw power from remembering being PanDEMONium maybe? It’s unclear how “PanDEMONium Memories” works.
    2a. I’d guess that it calls on a little bit of power from all the other demons currently alive. Pupils from all the other demons appear in Slumber’s eye, but two eyes are missing, lining up roughly with the unknown 8th demon and the death of the demon of Hunger. (The missing eyes are still represented through squiggly lines and something like damaged tissue or closed eyes or something on the edges, where the other pupils change Slumber’s skin color near them)
  3. Slumber’s dead. Maybe. Probably. Haven’t seen yet what this’ll do in the dream realm. But at least the sword body’s probably not coming out of this one alright.

Looking forward to seeing where things go from here, and whether Brad Nite and Hash make it out alright. We haven’t seen proof that PanDEMONium Memories didn’t do anything yet, so I’m a little worried.

“Zero Zone Zephyr” is cool-sounding nonsense, and the whole point of it is that it abbreviates to “zzz”, because that’s the sound people make when sleeping (in comics).

well techically he is the son of borgrak’s champion. i think eternal means that as long as the sprout is alive, momma sprout will still have hope.
