Yeah, but what was “too close”? I’m as lost as Funf here
“That was too close!” is a well-used phrase to imply that a situation got ‘too close’ to being a lot riskier.
In this instance, the Mimic is scolding its ‘human’ for almost risking revealing it was a mimic to its prey prematurely.
