I knew I recognized that name!
It’s Lord Wakizashi, who’s a lord later on in Katana. (He doesn’t appear to do all that much, just appears in a few comics.)
On another note, I totally thought the episode with Julius Sweasar took place in the far past, but I guess not… I went to check Tapas, which I’m pretty sure used to be ordered vaguely chronologically, but that’s gone now.
