Well, that certainly wasn’t what I expected!
But then again, I suppose the Blazesmith is just following its orders and guarding its assigned room against all-comers, rather than abandoning its post to chase after the red choplet, deeper into the dungeon.
It’s extremely funny to me to make a chicken-based petrifying monster when a cockatrice already exists. Excellent stealth punchline.

hey wait, is it just me or does that circle in the blazesmith look like the dying iron star of Baltad’s old world? Do you suppose it’s a ball of iron?
Is the cockadoodledusa also the first monster that isn’t sword-related?
