Now that I think of it, both of those came true. Smith, a kind man, recovered Baltad’s godsword and repaired it, even if the dead king was the one who found it first. And it was Silvertongue who snatched Greg’s godsword from the lake monster, even if Harpe ended up being the one to actually wield it in battle.

Huh. Interesting.

Yup, coming to the comment section was a good decision.

and yet by now neither champion fills the criteria all that well. Ryan, while certainly a good guy, isn’t any kinder than your average good guy. Harpe actually fits that one better, as is shown by her befriending the lake monster. But she has the one that was supposed to be about cunning, and she brute forced her way to get the sword back from Silvertongue.

Although I suspect in Baltad’s case that he may have been lying. After all, he totally ended up encouraging Ryan to kill Rapier Tapir.

well i suppose baltad either is dead serious on his prophecy or simply saw rapier tapir unfit. or maybe baltad purposely had sharpely come back to the past to assist with the 5 eyed demon problem. considering baltad’s obsession with his prophecy i can believe that.

To be fair, yelling to cancel out Silvertongue’s whistling was also pretty clever.
