Well, since in the first two panels they have different shoulder pads, they made have looted it and decided a cool cloak/cape thing was worth heathen symbols.

Kargob, coolest of the gods, has two eyes. It might be confusing, but what appears to be his other eyes are merely his NOSTRILS. He wore sunglasses on them in order to show how cool he is.
Nah man. Kargob has no eyes. The bottom two may be he’s nostrils but the top two are not his eyes. They are his EARS.
Ear holes.
Like reptiles and birds have.
Therefore, those sunglasses were not for the sun, as they are EARMUFFS. Because it was chilly.
And he has the glasses because they were on sale 75% off and I mean, who can pass up a deal like that.
