I wonder if any of the other demon swords have to be eaten to possess someone? Because it looks like the demon sword of absolute fury doesn’t need to. So is it maybe a disadvantage for three eyes to have this?

it doesnt have too, or maybe in its current state.
I mean, I always interpreted CLXIV to mean that the wolf (being a hungry wild animal) ate Absolute Fury and so got possessed by it.
Guys it’s the sword of unspeakable hunger.
That explains why people eat it

I agree with Urchen here. Obviously you need to fall asleep to be possessed by Slumber. So I wonder about the other swords.
