Xiphos has always been my favorite character in the series for how enjoyable he is and his brutality. But I feel the stuff that happens to him: Killed by Demon King, soul processed into soulsword, and being possessed by the Demon of Boundless Hunger felt undeserved due to how he never really did anything wrong. Oh and having his identity stolen doesn’t help either. Glad to see him get his happy ending by slaying the Demon King. What about you guys?

It didn’t feel that happy. To be completely honest, for a (mostly) lighthearted webcomic about swords, that was the closest I got to crying.
He deserved a little better.
It would be nice if he stayed with Kargob though.
